Do an antivirus scan with Avast

Before all, to install Avast, see install a software. Avast is a free software that can easily be found on Google. You will be prompted to pay for the pro version but you will still have choice to only download the free version.

  1. Open Avast and click on the Scan computer tab.
  2. Click on Start for the Full system scan.
  3. The scan can take between a few minutes and a few hours.
  4. If threats have been detected, click on Show results.
  5. Click on Apply. If necessary, you can change the action to apply to each virus or spyware before.
