Import photos with Picasa

You can use Picasa to import photos from a camera, a minicard, a CD or any other device that might contains photos. A little bonus : Picasa automatically look if you already have the same pictures to prevent duplicates.

  1. Plug in your camera or insert mini card or CD that contains the photos.
  2. Click on Import, in the top left corner. If photos don't appear, select a device from the list on the top near Import from. If some photos have a red X, it's that they're already in your folders and won't be imported again.
  3. Type the name you want for the folder of these photos at the bottom of the window under Folder title (you'll be able to organize this more later)
  4. Click on Import All .
